Bruce and Natalie are just such nice, kind-hearted people with a zest for life and an intense love for their family and those close to them, it just shines through from the moment you meet them. You take those raw ingredients and then amplify them through amazing attention to detail, an excellent team of service providers, and all of the emotions of a wedding day and you get what can only be described as a spectacular celebration of love.
The wedding was held at the stunning Canelands Beach Club & Spa nestled snugly on the shoreline of Salt Rock boasting spectacular views of the Indian Ocean where we were treated to dolphins and whales at play throughout the day. After a busy morning spent photographing the Groom’s preparations and the stunning decor by Sue’s Wedding Flowers we headed upstairs just as Michelle from Brush Bridal Make-Up was finishing up with the girls. The laughs and jokes filled the air as the big walk came closer and soon it was time for Natalie to put on her gorgeous gown by Casey Jeanne (WOW!).
After a beautiful ceremony and some family photos we took a short walk down the beach to the tidal pool for the Couple’s Creative Shoot, returning for some fun in the Photobooth Lab. Soon the guest gathered to officially welcome Mr & Mrs Van Wyk for the first time and he reception full of amazing food and grand festivities commenced. After sharing a stunning cake by Nicole’s Signature Cakes and some dancing orchestrated by Jarryd from KZN Wedding DJs it was time to call it a night.
It was truly amazing to me to watch just over 20 people deliver a day of laughter and celebration to rival any 300 pax wedding, it was a true testament to what amazing people Bruce and Natalie are. I wish you both a lifetime of health and happiness together and once again, thank you for allowing me and my team to share in your special day with you.
